Atlas of the Heart is Brenรฉ Brownโ€™s latest publication. Using a map metaphor, she explores the various emotional places we go when things are uncertain, when we search for connection, and when we self-assess. Known mostly for her work around shame and vulnerability, in Atlas of the Heart, Brenรฉ outlines 87 other common human emotions and experiences.

โœจ

Whether you are aware of your emotions or not, unexamined and internalized emotions lead to coping mechanisms like people pleasing, controlling others, care taking, perfectionism, body image struggles, and substance abuse.

โœจ

โ€œTo form meaningful connections with others, we must first connect with ourselves, but to do either, we must first establish a common understanding of the language of emotion and human experience.โ€ – Brenรฉ Brown

I am beginning a 4 month (16 week) study and support group to work through her latest book, Atlas of the Heart.

Blending left + right brain experiences, this group is both educational and supportive of your growth.

Through the book, readers:
